How to read a Species entry

A species entry will generally have a picture and a paragraph giving a general description of them at the beginning of their entry.

Personality: How most members of this species acts and feels.

Appearance: What members of this species generally look like.

Homeworld: What world the species considers their most important planet. This is not necessarily the species planet of origin (but generally is).

Nature: Their nature

Passion: Their passion

Frailty: Their frailt

Favored Attributes: Species generally have two attributes that they are very good with. They receive the benefit of the 9-again rule when using these attributes.

Poor Attributes: Species generally have two attributes that they are very bad with. Any 1s rolled when using these attributes takes away from the successes in the pool.

Size: The species’ size.

Vision: What types of vision the species has; other types of senses beyond the norm are also listed here. Standard vision allows you to perceive things in normal lighting levels out to 30 feet without difficulty.

Movement types and Speed Modifiers: The modifier to the species’ speed and any other movement types they might have.

Natural Talents: Things that members of the species are generally good at, and a listed bonus (generally +1).

Static Abilities: Abilities that members of the species have that are always ‘on’.

Vitality Ability: Abilities that members of the species have that require the expenditure of a type of Vitality (Vigor, Wilpower, Nerve or Karma) to activate. Some species do not have Vitality abilities (though most do).
